The Amazons come out with a bang releasing a debut album to be proud of. There’s a large amount of radio-friendly songs here that are sure to convert you into an Amazons fan - with plenty of singles to take from the album, it will certainly tickle a lot of listeners fancy. Singalong tunes, high energy and amped-up riffs, and catchy choruses are heard throughout here, and despite this being a debut, this feels like a mature record. Their slower songs may not hit as hard here, but that’s not the vibe of the album - this is a rock record that more than does the job.
Recommended for modern day rockers looking for an easy listen with danceable anthems.

I think the cover reflects the energy of the album’s material well, and who doesn’t think something on fire doesn’t look cool? It is a somewhat lazily thought cover - lets just set something on fire and take a photo.. not much imagination, but who cares, it’s cool.
