ADVISION STUDIOS

Advision Studios

Overview
Originally established on New Bond Street before relocating to 23 Gosfield Street, Fitzrovia in 1969, Advision Studios became one of London’s most influential recording facilities during the 1970s. Renowned for pioneering some of the UK’s earliest 8-, 16- and 24-track recording technology, the studio played a defining role in progressive rock while welcoming artists across rock, pop and film music. Although the London studio closed in 1990 following a move to Brighton, Advision’s legacy remains firmly embedded in British recording history.
