THE WHITE HOUSE STUDIO
Overview
The White House Studio is a highly respected, long-running independent tracking and mastering facility. Established in 1987 by engineer and audio electronics expert Martin Nichols, the studio is situated in a scenic, daylight-filled rural location in Kewstoke. Purposefully configured for bands who prefer to record playing together in real-time, the facility features a great acoustic live room for big drum tracks paired with dedicated isolation booths to capture guitar and bass amplifiers cleanly. Melding a classic 24-track analogue workflow with a modern Pro Tools Ultimate hybrid rig and specialized iZ Corp Nyquist converters, it has spent nearly four decades acting as an economical, elite launchpad for underground British indie, punk, and rock acts.
