Overview
Touchwood Audio Productions is a long-standing, state-of-the-art independent recording facility nestled in the Hyde Park area of Leeds. Founded in 1987 by producer Bruce Wood, the studio has spent nearly four decades providing an intimate and relaxed tracking haven for both underground and established acts. Intentionally avoiding completely in-the-box workflows, the studio is built around an extensive hybrid digital-analogue setup featuring a classic 32-track analogue desk alongside boutique outboard compressors, historical tube microphones, and premier A-D/D-A converters. Bypassing clinical mainstream music corporate tracking methods, it serves as a highly sought-after destination for tracking organic live drums, multi-genre writing sessions, and final album mastering lanes.
