ABC REHEARSAL STUDIO

Overview
ABC Rehearsal Studios is a long-running monthly-lockout rehearsal complex at 2575 North San Fernando Road, Los Angeles, California, in the industrial stretch of Glassell Park near Silver Lake and Atwater Village. Established in 1992, ABC first appeared at the nearby 2545 North San Fernando Road before expanding or moving within the same block to its present address in 1998. It is not a conventional recording studio: bands rent their own rooms by the month, leave in their equipment, and use the space at any hour for rehearsal, writing and pre-production. The Glassell Park building is divided into insulated lockouts with high ceilings, ventilation, storage space, double-door access and on-site management, built to accommodate loud full-band work rather than polished recording sessions. ABC remains active at 2575 North San Fernando Road and also runs a separate North Hollywood branch at 7413-7415 Varna Avenue.
