Overview
Founded in March 2013 by pioneering audio executives Kevin "Coach K" Lee and Pierre "Pee" Thomas, Quality Control Music Studios serves as the heavily fortified creative headquarters for the independent Hip-Hop powerhouse Quality Control Music. Following a meticulous 12-month construction process funded by a $1 million initial investment, the private, bunker-like commercial facility was opened on the West Side of Atlanta, Georgia. Tailored exclusively to sustain the rapid, non-stop sonic output required by modern Trap and Southern Hip-Hop production, the complex contains four identical, state-of-the-art recording suites equipped with high-end tracking and mixing setups. Operating as a fully self-contained ecosystem housing a rotating roster of exclusive in-house producers, tracking engineers, and audio editors, the compound serves as both the operational nerve centre for the brand's expansive media operations and an elite private sanctuary where the distinct, hard-hitting 808 soundscape of contemporary Atlanta Hip-Hop is continually engineered and mixed.
