Overview
Active from 2005 for a decade, Upstairs Studio was a low-profile recording and production facility located in Atlanta, Georgia. Closely associated with engineer and producer Morgan Garcia, the studio supported the efficient, programming-led workflows central to contemporary R&B and Southern Hip-Hop. With an emphasis on vocal tracking, beat construction, and MIDI-based production, the facility provided a focused alternative to Atlanta’s larger multi-room commercial complexes.
