RADA STUDIOS
Overview
Established in July 2013 by producer Matt Gio and musician Dan Carroll, RADA Studios is an independent recording and live-session facility based in Perth, Western Australia. The studio operated from its original warehouse suite on Golding Street in West Perth for its first 8 years before permanently relocating its entire physical setup to Fremantle in 2021. Its relaxed, homely interior combines modern recording technology with a varied collection of instruments and analogue equipment, including a Mellotron, upright pianos, synthesisers, and high-end preamps. RADA Studios remains a vital creative pipeline and an important part of Western Australia’s Alternative Pop and Rock scene.
