JUNGLE CITY STUDIOS

Overview
Jungle City Studios is a commercial recording, mixing, and post-production facility at 520 West 27th Street in West Chelsea, Manhattan. It opened in January 2011, founded by engineer and producer Ann Mincieli, whose long-running work with Alicia Keys helped shape the studio’s artist-centred approach. Designed by the Walters-Storyk Design Group, the penthouse complex was built as a high-end alternative to the increasingly home-based production environment of the early 2010s. Its two principal rooms, Studios A and B, overlook the High Line and Hudson River through large glass walls, while maintaining substantial acoustic isolation. Studio A combines a 32-channel Neve 8068 with an SSL Duality console, supporting analogue tracking alongside modern digital production and mixing. Studio B centres on an SSL AWS 948, with custom Augspurger monitoring used across the facility. Jungle City Studios remains active for vocal production, full-band recording, mixing, and Dolby Atmos work across Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, Rock, and Soundtrack projects.
